I just wanted to send a quick note and word of appreciation to recommend any body who needs a good mechanic. My Honda Odyssey was acting up and driving terribly. I was told by my mechanic that new transmission is needed & will cost $3500.00. I got so afraid and did not know what to do. As I heard on radio, so called AAMCO of Pasadena and spoke to Manager. Who told what happened to transmission & soothed my nerves. He towed my van to his shop, checked at no charge, rebuilt, fixed and saved me money. Service was great. Thanks!
Some of the best customer service I have ever seen and willing to help out a stranger as if they were family. Since when have you ever heard that said about a mechanic hands down return customer here.

I rarely write reviews, but this place really does deserve one. Make sure you deal with Robert, he is an honest person, not looking to rip anybody off. He is very knowledgeable about cars, and surely has the best deals/service. Car shops tend to be horrible, but I am very impressed with this AAMCO. A+

Can't believe I found an honest mechanic after living in CA for less than a year!! Replaced nearly everything on the car before moving here, so the dreaded unexplainable clicking noise sent me to the the companies with whom we had warranties. Firestone: "not the tires, must be the brakes." Midas: "not the brakes, look here, it's the transmission." No one wants transmission problems, and the car's only 6 years old. Well thank the lord above, no transmission problems:
I had AAMCO service my Honda Accord's transmission in March 2012 when it had 156000 miles. Since then, I added another 32,000 miles on the car. The transmission still runs fine and is noise-free when switching gear. I usually don't put down any review right after any service. After almost a year, I think it's time to give AAMCO Pasadena a fairly happy 5 star.
Had a dealership tell me my transmission was done and it would cost $12,000 to repair. These guys discovered it was only a broken axel. Definitely returning for repairs, very quick, professional and courteous.
AMCO Pasadena provided prompt and efficient service to repair my car transmission. They provided detailed explanation on all repair that the car needed. Sadu was very professional and took time to explain my different options . Would likely recommend.
Came to get my shifter fixed ad it was not shifting out of park properly. I originally got a used part however the part only lasted for a month. I brought the car back in under warranty and the part was order right away. I took it in today and it was finished by 3:45.
Sadu was excellent. He promised me my truck by the end of the day. The dealer brought him the wrong parts, but he got them to send the right parts asap. Although the correct parts were more expensive, Sadu didn't upcharge me. I have always brought my cars here and will continue to do so
